Production Policies


FeatherI’ve tried to make my production policies as complete and specific as possible, but please understand that as we grow, some of our policies might change. If you have any questions, or if you are unsure about any of the policies I have stated below, please don’t hesitate to contact me– my door is always open to my guests and friends!!! I hope we develop a great relationship. Let’s show off our feathers together!


 

Production Times:

Typically you can expect your order to be ready in less than a week. It sometimes takes a bit longer if you have requested several items, or if I have received a high volume of orders around the same time as yours. (If you need the item by a specific date, please contact me before purchase so that we can discuss if this is possible.)

 

Materials:

Quality and longevity are very important factors in the designs of Everyday Peacocks jewelry.  The metals I use are always jeweler quality, and purchased from a trusted and highly reputable source.  Likewise, I have worked to develop trusting relationships with my stone providers to ensure high quality and authenticity.

Currently I am using 925/10 Sterling Silver filled wire in my jewelry. This wire is a great medium because it looks, acts, and feels like Sterling Silver but with the added strength of the brass or copper core it is bonded to. It is not the same as silver plated wire. There is much more silver (10% of the total weight is from the silver content) which makes it very durable and not likely to flake. Custom Orders:

I love custom orders! As an artist, it’s a wonderfully intimate experience to create such a special item. Since it will be a unique piece, please expect longer than normal production times. During production of custom orders, I will be in contact with pictures at key points during the creation for approval before continuing so timely communication with me will help to speed up the process. As with all other items, I will not start the creation of a custom order until payment is received. Likewise, because of the unique nature of these items, I can not offer refunds on custom orders

 

Special Requests:

Do you have a special request for an item you purchased? I would love to do this for you if I can! Is it a gift? Maybe you want a special note enclosed before sending. Let me know what you would like, and I’ll see what I can do!

 

Packaging:

I ship all jewelry items individually in resealable plastic bags to help properly protect the precious metals and stones, and then placed in personally prepared jewelry boxes.  these are added to mailers or boxes to help prevent damage which may occur during shipping.  If you’d like to see some examples of Everyday Peacocks packaging, stop by our Gallery!  You’re bound to find some great images there…

 

Customer Satisfaction:

All of Everyday Peacock’s products are handmade and therefore no two are the same– even if they are similar. So I can understand that sometimes items will look slightly different than the picture representing them. For me, this is an exciting element of buying items from the artist. However, if you are not completely satisfied, or if your item is truly unusable for you, please contact me as to the nature of your complaint, and I will see what I can do to correct the problem. In some cases I may consider a store credit or exchange with a small restocking fee. This is strictly on a case by case basis. If an agreement can be reached, I will contact you by email to discuss the details. Please do not send any items to me without contacting me first–it will not ensure an exchange or refund.
